At Open Door, we have a heart for sharing God’s love with Chili and the surrounding communities.
We serve our community in various ways throughout the year.
In addition to organized church-sponsored events, many of our members are instrumental in countless local ministries and community initiatives.
Throughout the year, we act as the hands and feet of Jesus as we partner with Open Door Mission: preparing and serving a free meal to the community, and leading a chapel service. To join us, sign-up in the church lobby.

In the spring, some of our students and youth leaders volunteer their spring break to serve the City of Rochester and share the gospel through Bible clubs and acts of service.
The Chil-E Festival is an annual event on July 4, held on Chili Avenue in Chili Center, featuring a parade, live music, food trucks, fireworks and much more.
Open Door participates each year with a free basketball competition booth. In the past, we’ve given out free water and talked with people about the love of Jesus.
Each December, we participate as a church in the annual lighting of the town Christmas tree and a Christmas parade in Chili.
We serve free hot chocolate to the community, and drive the church bus in the parade.
