Paul St. Denis is the Lead Pastor at Open Door Baptist Church. A lifelong resident of the area, Paul has been a member of Open Door since his childhood.

Paul graduated from Spencerport High School in 1994 (Go Rangers!) and attended Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, NY. He earned a B.A. degree in Religion with a youth emphasis from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.

Since joining the Open Door staff in 2002 as youth pastor, Paul has been responsible for the children and teen ministry working with kids from birth through college age. As youth pastor, he directed the Open Door Teens ministry, conducting activities designed to help participants personalize their faith. In 2016, he transitioned to role as pastor of adult ministries and in 2025, became the Lead Pastor.

Paul currently lives in Churchville with his wife, Tabitha, and has four sons. His interests include wrestling with his boys, Montreal Canadiens’ hockey, golf, and pretty much every other sport.
